Golf Course Communities: If you are looking for an estate home in a golf course community, Goochland County may be the place for you. Subdivisions like Kinloch feature estate-sized homes on world-class golf courses. While you will pay for the privilege, the extremely low real estate tax rate for the county helps a bit.

Westcreek Park
Home to some of the largest companies in the Richmond area, including the massive Capital One campus, Westcreek Park lies right over the border from western Henrico County. The office park hosts a number of athletic events each year, and you can often find road bikers taking advantage of the wide, curving roads. The Richmond Strikers, one of the largest youth soccer organizations in the Greater Metropolitan area, has a soccer facility within Westcreek.
Breweries and Wineries
Goochland is the latest frontier for breweries and wineries in Central Virginia. Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery, Midnight Brewery, and Kindred Spirit Brewing all call Goochland home. Elk Island Winery and Byrd Cellers have also planted roots in the area.
Tanglewood Ordinary
Tanglewood Ordinary is a restaurant and inn in Goochland and is the home of Grandma's Sunday Dinner, with some of the best fried chicken in Virginia. Plan a drive on a pretty Sunday afternoon and bring your appetite! Meals are served family style and are all you can eat.
